Garden time consists of tasks such as planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and harvesting, tailored to the specific needs of the plants and the season.

Non-chemical pest control methods include handpicking, barriers, companion planting, beneficial insects, traps, diatomaceous earth, neem oil, soap spray, and organic repellents. These techniques offer effective alternatives to chemical pesticides, promoting a balanced ecosystem while safeguarding plants from pests.
4. How to successfully transplant your seedlings
To successfully transplant seedlings, prepare the new planting area beforehand, ensuring proper soil moisture and spacing. Gently remove seedlings from their containers, handling roots delicately. Plant seedlings at the same depth as they were in the original containers, water thoroughly, and provide shade to minimize transplant shock.
5. When and how to water your plants properly?
Water plants early in the morning to minimize evaporation and fungal growth. Apply water at the base of plants, avoiding foliage to prevent disease. Water deeply and infrequently, allowing soil to dry slightly between watering to encourage deep root growth. Adjust watering frequency based on plant type, soil moisture, and weather conditions.
6. How and winter fertilize your plants?
Winter fertilization is best done before the ground freezes. Apply a slow-release, balanced fertilizer to replenish soil nutrients. Avoid high-nitrogen fertilizers that promote new growth vulnerable to frost damage. Water plants thoroughly after fertilizing to ensure nutrients reach the root zone. Mulch around plants to retain moisture and protect roots during winter.
